Introduction When creating different Appian expression business rules to use in their workflows, business users can publish different expression rules to the database to extend their Connected Claims solution. This page walks you through how to publish new expression rules. Publish a new expression rules The Publish Expression Rule in Database configuration allows business users to add new expression rules that they can immediately start leveraging in the database after creation. Note that new expression rules must be validated before you can publish them to the Rules database. To publish a new expression rule: From the HOME page, select the CONFIGURATION tab. Click Publish Expression Rule in Database. In the EXPRESSION RULE DETAIL section, enter the rule name in the Display Name field. In the Rule UUID field, enter the expression rule UUID. In the Description field, add a description for the expression rule. Click VALIDATE RULE. If the expression rule is successfully validated, Connected Claims will display the following confirmation.
