Saved Investigation Page

This page applies to business users. It describes what actions can be performed in a saved investigation.

Overview

The saved investigation page allows you and any collaborators to view and interact with the insights from an investigation.

To access a saved investigation page, go to the INVESTIGATIONS tab of a process view, then click the investigation you want to view.

You can change a saved investigation in the following ways:

Continue the investigation by creating or editing insights in the investigation.

Navigate to the Process Insights page or the process view page.

Investigation header

View information about the investigation, including:


  • Reduce Cycle Time for <Process Name>: Default title of the investigation. You can edit this name when you save an insight.
  • Time Range: The date range for the investigation.
  • Cases: The total number of cases in the investigation.
  • Duration (Average): The average duration of cases in the investigation.
  • Filters: The filters that define the view where you started the investigation.

Insights list

Click on an insight to view the insight summary.

Insight details

  • Review the findings included in the insight. By default, the last finding added to the insight displays. To view all findings in the insight, click Show All.
  • Review metrics for the insight:
    • Cases: A count of total cases affected by the findings in the insight.
    • Occurrences: A count of how many times the sequence selected in the insight occurs in the affected cases.
    • Duration (Average): The average duration of cases affected by the insight.
  • View data visualizations for the insight:
  • View a list of cases affected by the insight.
  • View the process diagram for cases affected by the insight.
  • Continue the investigation.
  • Rename the selected insight.
  • Adjust the potential savings calculation for the selected insight.
  • Add comments to the selected insight.
  • Delete the selected insight.
