Once installation and setup are complete, this module allows you to load realistic case data into Case Management Studio Base application to support product demonstrations. This guide outlines the steps for downloading, installing and configuring the Demo Data module to use with your Case Management Studio Base application. The steps include: Download the software package. Create database objects. Import the application. Before starting the installation process, review the System Requirements to make sure all minimum requirements are met. System requirements This section details the minimum requirements your system must meet to run the Demo Data module. Appian version 24.2 or greater. A supported version of MariaDB as a business data source. A supported web browser. Imported Case Management Studio Base application version 1.4 or higher, which includes the following application containers: CMGT Case Management Studio Base (CMGT) CMGT Studio Module (CMGT_WFL) CMGT Studio Generated Objects (CMGT) (Optional) Imported Report Builder Module, which includes the following application containers: Report Builder (SEUR) Step 1: Download the software package The first step in installing the Demo Data module is to download the software package that contains the following files, which you will use in the remaining set-up steps. 01.DemoDataModulev1.0.0.sql DemoDataModulev1.0.0.zip DemoDataModulev1.0.0.properties To download the software package: In My Appian, navigate to the Support tab. Click DOWNLOADS > SOLUTIONS. In the grid, find and click Case Management Studio. Under Downloads, click Demo Data and agree to the License Agreement. Click Demo Data to download the DemoDataModulev1.0.0.zip file. Unzip DemoDataModulev1.0.0.zip to access the installation files. Step 2: Create database objects To create the structure for the database tables, views, and other objects that are a part of the Demo Data module in your MariaDB business database, you need to run the 01.DemoDataModulev1.0.0.sql DDL script downloaded in Step 1. Step 3: Import the application Next, you need to import the application into the target environment. To import the application: In the target environment, log in as the deployment user. Navigate to the Appian Designer. Click IMPORT. Click UPLOAD and choose the application DemoDataModulev1.0.0.zip file that was downloaded in Step 1. Click Include related import customization file. Click UPLOAD and choose the DemoDataModulev1.0.0.properties file downloaded in Step 1. Click INSPECT to ensure that there will be no complications on import. Note: The inspection could take several minutes to complete and may time out. If this occurs, the import will continue in the background. Click IMPORT. Note: The import may time out due to file size. If this occurs, the import will continue in the background. Review the import results to verify the following CMGT Add-On - Demo Data Module (CMGT_EXT) application container was imported.
