The Connected Onboarding 4.4 release notes provide an overview of the latest changes and improvements to the Connected Onboarding Solution. These new features and improved capabilities were designed with best practices in mind.
The Appian Connected Onboarding solution has long shipped with a Customer Portal site which is intended to be used by the end customers the institution is Onboarding so that the end customer can complete tasks assigned to them as part of the Onboarding. Until now, tasks that the institution wished to assign to their customers had to be manually reassigned to the customer every time Onboardings were being created, which was inefficient and susceptible to errors.
In this release, Connected Onboarding introduces the ability to assign template tasks to a generic ‘Customer’ group.
When a template with tasks assigned to the ‘Customer’ group is used to create the Onboarding, tasks assigned to the ‘Customer’ group will be assigned to the specific customer for which the Onboarding is created. As a result, Connected Onboarding users creating Onboardings can create Onboardings more efficiently, because fewer changes need to be made as each Onboarding is created.
Using Connected Onboarding drives transparency, auditability, and efficiency throughout the Onboarding lifecycle. Customers who get the most out of Connected Onboarding continually evaluate their Onboarding business processes for opportunities to streamline through automation and other improvements.
A great way for Connected Onboarding customers to continually improve their Onboarding business process is by using Appian Process Mining. Appian Process Mining analyzes event logs captured throughout their use of Connected Onboarding and uncovers process deviations and Onboarding attributes with the greatest impact on inefficiencies in the Onboarding process. The latest release of Connected Onboarding includes improvements to the way audit data is captured and stored throughout the Onboarding lifecycle to better enable leveraging Appian Process Mining for valuable insights. As a result, customers purchasing Appian Process Mining to gain insights on their use of Connected Onboarding can more quickly and easily prepare their data for analysis by Appian Process Mining.
Appian provides product and documentation for 12 months from the general availability (GA) release date of a solution release. After 12 months, the solution product documentation is deprecated and archived.
