Award Management 2.1 Release Notes Share Share via LinkedIn Reddit Email Copy Link Print On This Page This content applies solely to Award Management, which must be purchased separately from the Appian base platform. What's new in Award Management? The Award Management (AM) 2.1 release notes provide an overview of the latest changes and improvements to the Award Management Solution. New features and improved capabilities were designed with best practices in mind. Requirements Management integration Award Management now offers a stronger integration with Requirements Management (RM). For customers that have both the solutions, once a requirement is released to the contracting team and transitioned to the accepted status, it is visible in AM to minimize the different solutions the contracting personnel has to move between. Information from the requirement is used to pre-populate the solicitation or award wizard, reducing the amount of information that needs to be manually entered. Documents and line items are automatically carried over to the new solicitation or award, saving the contracting team member time and minimizing the risk of critical information being lost. Both RM and AM will provide easily navigable links between the related records to make it easier to track a requirement through the entire procurement process. Additional updates The AM 2.1 release includes the following additional updates: A line item in both solicitation and award has more data points, such as title, type, delivery date, PSC and description, pricing arrangement, estimated cost, fixed fee, and ceiling price. Solicitations and awards can now be categorized as Facilities, IT Hardware, IT Services, IT Software, Telecom or Other. When a solicitation or award has no contracting staff assigned, the rejection and review tasks get stuck as those aren't assigned to anyone. Now, selection of contracting staff is made mandatory when creating solicitation or award. Get Started Now Ready to get started with AM 2.1 Check out Installing AM for more information.
