Solutions Hub Guide

Introduction

Appian is more than just a Low-Code platform that allows you to develop applications to solve your most complex business problems. We also build robust solutions with all of the power and capabilities of the Appian platform that enable you to work smarter, faster, and more efficiently!

Developed on the Appian Low-Code platform, solutions are pre-built, standalone applications that are designed to solve a specific business problem, meet an industry need, or simplify and streamline complex workflows.

Appian provides a way for you to customize your solution by modifying or extending the solution's code to adapt it for a range of scenarios. For example, if your users have specific language requirements, you can customize a solution by changing the default language to meet their needs.

Solutions Hub

The Solutions Hub is a standalone Appian Site installed on a development environment where solutions implementation teams can perform supported customizations for an Appian solution.

A supported customization adds code to an Appian solution via the Solutions Hub to adapt the solution for a range of scenarios. Supported customizations do not modify the solution's source code but are performed in accordance with the customization steps and are upgrade friendly.
