What's New? The Government Clause Automation (GCA) 2.2 release notes provide an overview of the latest changes and improvements to the GCA solution. The new features and improved capabilities were designed with best practices in mind. Copy existing clause sets This release introduces the ability to copy an existing clause set as the starting point when creating a new one. Previously, you could only create a new clause set manually or by leveraging the Clause Set Creation wizard to guide you through the process. This release saves you significant time by allowing you to find and copy an existing clause set that meets your requirements, eliminating the need to work through every step of the Clause Set Creation wizard. With this new option, you also can select whether you want to maintain clause text edits in the original clause set or clear these edits to complete all new fill-ins. Improved alternate clause process We made several improvements to how GCA manages alternate clauses. First, we added the capability to add and update alternate clause values directly in the solution from the Edit Clause dialog. This means you no longer need a separate integration to manage alternate clauses in GCA. Next, we updated how we store and display alternate clauses in the solution. Previously, GCA stored alternate clauses with an "Alternate #" title. This title designation provided no context on the original clause. Now, GCA stores the base clause title in the Title data field to ensure the appropriate information is displayed when you view an alternate clause in the related interface. Accessibility improvements This release also includes several accessibility improvements as part of an ongoing effort to ensure the solution meets web accessibility standards.
