The Contract Writing 2.0 release notes provide an overview of the latest changes and improvements to the Contract Writing (CW) Solution. The new features and improved capabilities were designed with best practices in mind. Integration with Government Source Selection (GSS) CW now integrates seamlessly with GSS. No set up required. As long as you have both solutions in the same environment, the integration happens automatically. Aside from reducing the need to rekey information between the two solutions, this new integration also provides the following: New Evaluation section on the Solicitation Summary in Contract Writing when GSS is detected in the environment. Ability to create a new evaluation in GSS with pre-populated data from CW once a solicitation is in Released status. Updated Section M (evaluation criteria) to support structured data that can be mapped to GSS factors and weights. Link between the CW solicitation and GSS evaluation records. Procurement Analytics integration The new Procurement Analytics integration facilitates the flow of award record data from the CW solution into Procurement Analytics to enable acquisition-related reporting. This suite of common, useful reports provides valuable procurement insights and a foundation for building out additional reporting capabilities. See Procurement Analytics Overview and Installing Procurement Analytics for more information on getting started. Previous modifications and amendments To allow contracting personnel to quickly and easily reference past procurement changes, we're providing better visibility for historical amendments and modifications made to solicitations and awards in CW. There will now be a new record for each version of the modification or amendment. This ensures that each change to a procurement is captured and made accessible as a distinct entity for easy reference throughout the procurement lifecycle. The audit log on the History tab has also been updated to account for ongoing changes to the modification or amendment and a related records tab has been added to the procurement summary for easy viewing. General enhancements Section J filter on Contract File - you can now also filter by No in the IS SECTION J dropdown on the Contract File tab to help you narrow down documents that are not Section J attachments. Decimal rounding - CW will now automatically round down numbers to two decimal places. For example, 1500.877677 to 1500.88. Get Started Now Ready to get started using Contract Writing 2.0?
