GSS 1.7 Release Notes

This content applies solely to Government Source Selection, which must be purchased separately from the Appian base platform.

What's New?

The Government Source Selection 1.7 Release Notes provide an overview of the latest changes and improvements to the Government Source Selection Solution. The new features and improved capabilities were designed with best practices in mind.

Weighted Evaluation Factors

Evaluation factors and their relative importance may change from one evaluation to another. We’re now giving you more control through adjustable weighted values for each factor and subfactor in an evaluation record. This allows you to update factor weights in proportion to the varying levels of impact they have on things like future proposal success and vendor viability. Factors can be broken into subfactors with their own adjustable values that add up to the total value of the top-level factor. This makes it easier to communicate and demonstrate the reasoning behind a decision and reduce the risk of protest.

Combine Responses with AI

Use generative AI to automatically generate a synthesized response that can be further edited and refined for clarity from selected responses.

The original responses are also still visible and maintained for reference after they are combined.

This feature reduces the manual work required to reconcile multiple responses on the Consensus Report, saving valuable time and improving efficiency across the consensus process.

Duplicate Evaluations

Save time while ensuring accuracy and consistency with the new Duplicate Evaluation action. Since new evaluations will sometimes closely resemble existing evaluations, we’ve provided this new option to help reduce manual data entry, duplicative effort, and provide a more efficient evaluation creation process.
