Personas represent groups of users, such as customers, administrators, or system roles, and determine who has access to specific actions within your application plan. Appian allows you to map existing design objects, such as groups, to personas, making it easier to reuse objects from other applications. Mapping existing groups streamlines development and ensures consistent roles and permissions across applications. In the Personas tab, you can add, edit, or delete personas. Add personas To add a persona: On the Personas tab, click + ADD PERSONA to create a new persona. For Name, enter a name for the group of users. (Optional) For Description, describe the responsibilities of the group members. Click SAVE CHANGES. Edit personas To edit a persona: On the Personas tab, click the pencil icon . Modify the Name or Description to better align with the persona's role, or associate existing groups with the persona. Scroll or drag to pan · ⌘+/⌘− to zoom · Esc to close Click SAVE CHANGES. Delete personas You should verify that removing a persona does not impact your requirements before deleting. To delete a persona: On the Personas tab, click the trash can icon next to the persona. Tip: Next, learn how to manage processes to create visual diagrams of your application's business workflows. Feedback Was this page helpful? SHARE FEEDBACK Loading...
