This content was written for Appian 26.6 and may not reflect the interfaces or functionality of other Appian versions. Set up ProcureSight Enterprise in Requirements Management After you have installed ProcureSight Enterprise (PSE), several configurations are required to use the application. Note: Updates in Appian Designer must be done with caution by someone familiar with Appian development. Step 1: Configure user groups and security Configuring user groups and security is a good starting point. To use PSE in Requirements Management, you must add the AS RM All Business Users group to the AS PD Users group in AS ProcureSight Enterprise Full Application. You must know: If your organization has any additional business roles that are not covered in the default business groups. What users must be members of each business group? For more information on groups and security, see Groups Management. Step 2: Configure the record context To configure the record context for Requirements Management in ProcureSight Enterprise to enable the AI Agent to perform a Market Deep Dive and curate the collection: From Solutions Hub, go to ProcureSight Enterprise Application > Functionality > Document Builder Record Context Configuration > Customize. Call the rule AS_RM_AIDB_CONFIG_recordContextSearchSelect in the customization. Caution: If a configuration already exists in the _custom rule, then append the new value to the existing code rather than replacing it. Replacing the existing code may break other solutions that integrate with ProcureSight Enterprise. Step 3: Change maximum number of market deep dive results The AI Market Deep Dive Agent is set by default to add the top 25 procurement and vendor results to the collection it creates and links to a requirement. This maximum for saved results can be modified by updating the value in the constant, AS_RM_PRO_INT_MARKET_RESEARCH_RESULTS_NUM, located in the AS RM Full Application. Step 4: Install and set up AI Document Builder The AI Market Deep Dive feature relies on AI Document Builder to generate the AI Collection analysis report document. You must install and set up AI Document Builder in your environment to use this feature. Step 5: Set up AI Market Deep Dive The AI Market Deep Dive feature is enabled by default when you install Requirements Management. If your agency prefers not to use the AI Market Deep Dive feature, it can be toggled off by changing the value to False in the constant AS_RM_PRO_MARKET_RESEARCH_FEATURE_ENABLED located in AS RM Full Application.
