max() Function

Returns the maximum of the specified number(s).

Parameters

max( number )

Keyword	Type	Description
number	Number (Decimal Precise) Array, Number (Decimal Floating) Array	A candidate number or an array of candidates for the maximum.

Returns

The return type depends on the data type of the maximum value.

If the maximum value is Number (Decimal Precise), the function returns Number (Decimal Precise). Otherwise, the function returns Number (Decimal Floating).

Examples

max(1,2,3,4) returns 4
