This page applies to business users. It describes what actions are available on the Data Catalog page of Process HQ.

Note: To see this page, you must be in the Data Fabric Report Creators system group.

Overview

The Data Catalog page allows you to explore the breadth of your data fabric. Here, you can build custom reports by selecting a dataset or using a guided experience to pick and format your report data.

To access this page, select Process HQ from the navigation menu, then click Data Catalog in the navigation bar.

Elements

The following image highlights the elements that make up this page:

#	Element	Actions Available
1	Navigation bar	View the Home page. View the Process Insights page. The current page you're on, the Data Catalog page. View the Data Governance page. Switch out of Process HQ and into another workspace like Appian Designer. The workspaces you can access depend on your user role and other security settings. Change settings for your user profile.
2	Tabs	In the Datasets tab, view the datasets you have access to use in reports. Click a dataset to create a report. In the Guided Experience tab, use autosuggest to pick and format the data you want in a report.
3	Toolbar	Search for a dataset by the dataset name or description. Filter the list of datasets. Sort the list of datasets.
4	Appian AI Copilot for data fabric	Ask questions about any dataset in your Data Catalog and receive an answer by querying your data fabric.
5	List of <a href=key-pi-terms.md#datasets">datasets</a>	Click a dataset to create a report.
