A clause set is a collection of clauses that contractors are required to meet for a solicitation or award contract. From the Government Clause Automation (GCA) home page, users can view a complete list of their clause sets and a list of all clause sets for their organization. In addition, on the home page users can view a complete list of all their organization's imported or created clauses. The list of clauses is helpful for business users when creating a new clause set for a clause supplemental document. Business users can easily search all available clauses and select the ones they want to manually add to a clause set or select from a list of auto-suggested clauses that GCA provides based on answers to questionnaires. GCA site navigation The Government Clause Automation (GCA) site consists of several pages: Clause Sets, Clauses, Templates, Questionnaires, and Rules. These pages provide business users with views of the clause information they need to see and take action on. The following image highlights the actions you can do in the Clause Sets page: # Action 1 View the clause sets assigned to the current user. 2 View all the clause set records for your organization. 3 Create a new clause set. Note: Only users with access can see certain action shortcuts, including CREATE CLAUSE SET and ADD CLAUSE. The CREATE CLAUSE SET action is temporarily disabled while alternate clause text processing is in progress. Once processing completes, clause set creation is available again. Note: When alternate clause text processing is in progress, a processing banner displays at the top of the Clauses page indicating the current status. If processing fails, an error banner displays with options to rerun failed clauses, start the review, or view failure details. These banners are visible to privileged users only.
