Cards as Info Pattern

Goal

Use this pattern to display high level summaries of options with icons and descriptions. This pattern uses card layouts with stamp fields and rich text to create visually distinct information cards. This page explains how you can use this pattern in your interface, and walks through the design structure in detail.

Design structure

The pattern uses a column layout to create three columns, each containing a card layout. Each card displays an icon using a stamp component, a title with an optional tag component, and a description using rich text display components.

Tip:  This pattern uses columns layout to achieve fixed width cards. But when the number of cards could vary or the amount of available screen space is unknown, consider using using card group layout.

Pattern expression

When you drag and drop the cards as info pattern onto your interface, a 182-line expression will be added to the section where you dragged it.
