Appian's Vendor Management (VM) comes with a Google reCAPTCHA integration that can be used to protect the vendor portal from malicious attacks. To configure this, you need to register for an enterprise account with Google reCAPTCHA and configure the connected system with your account credentials. Caution: If you do not plan to use the Google reCAPTCHA integration, you must toggle the AS_VM_TOGGLE_VENDOR_PORTAL_RECAPTCHA_ENABLED constant value to False in Designer. Configure VM application After setting up your Google reCAPTCHA account, you need to configure the Vendor Management (VM) application to use the API key. Follow the Google reCAPTCHA instructions to set up the VM CS Google reCAPTCHA connected system. Google reCAPTCHA protects your portal. Appian blocks vendor creation if the reCAPTCHA score is low. If the score is moderate, the system flags the creation attempt for inspection. The target reCAPTCHA score values can be found and updated in AS_VM_PORTAL_BL_registerVendorBasedOnReCaptchaScore.
