Set up SAM.gov Integration

Appian Government Source Selection (GSS) comes with an integration to SAM.gov. In order to use this capability, you must register for a key from SAM.gov and configure the application to use the key provided. This page provides instructions for registering for your key and configuring your application.

Register for SAM.gov key

To integrate SAM.gov with Government Source Selection (GSS), you must register for an API key.

  1. Navigate to SAM.gov.
  2. Sign up to create a new account.
  3. Go to Workspace > Account Details.
  4. Click Request API Key to generate the API key.
  5. Copy the generated API key.

Configure application

After receiving your email from SAM.gov, you must configure your Government Source Selection (GSS) application to use the saved API key.

  1. Go to Appian Designer > AS GSS Full Application.
  2. Search for and update the AS GAM CS Search API for SAM gov connected system.
  3. Find the Value field and click the Clear link next to it.
  4. In the cleared Value field, paste the copied API key.
  5. Click SAVE.
