Set Up AI Document Builder

Note:  GSS 3.1 and later requires AI Document Builder 1.3 or later.

After you have installed AI Document Builder (AIDB), the following configurations are required to use AI Document Builder (AIDB) with Government Source Selection (GSS):

Configure group memberships for AIDB in GSS

To enable access for AI Document Builder (AIDB) in Government Source Selection (GSS):

  1. Add AS GSS All Business Users to AS AIDB Users for Government Source Selection users to create documents in AI Document Builder.
  2. Add the appropriate role groups to AS AIDB Manage Templates for users to create and edit templates on the AI Document Builder page.

Configure the record context for GSS in AIDB

To configure the record context for Government Source Selection (GSS) in AI Document Builder (AIDB):

  1. From Solutions Hub, go to Solutions Hub > AI Document Builder > Functionality > Record Context Configuration > Customize.
  2. Call the rule AS_GSS_AIDB_CONFIG_recordContextSearchSelect in the customization.

Caution:  If a configuration already exists in the _custom rule, append the new value to the existing code rather than replacing it. Replacing the existing code may break other solutions that integrate with AI Document Builder.
