Contract Writing (CW) version 3.7 release notes provide an overview of the latest changes and improvements to the Contract Writing solution. The new capability in CW 3.7 focuses on tracking invoices against awards and agreements. Track invoices against awards and agreements CW 3.7 adds invoice tracking, so you can see how much is obligated, invoiced, and paid on a contract without leaving Contract Writing. Most agencies manage invoices in an external financial system, but contracting teams still need to tie those invoices to their awards. Released awards and agreements now centralize invoice tracking directly in Contract Writing: Invoices tab: Displays summary cards for the total obligated, invoiced, and paid amounts and the remaining obligated amount. Guided invoice creation: Captures invoice details, budget codes, payments, and line items. Payment tracking: Automatically calculates whether an invoice is Not Paid, Partially Paid, or Fully Paid, and prevents payments from exceeding the invoice total. Finance Representative role: Grants access to view all invoices and manage assigned records. To use this feature, navigate to a released award or agreement, click the Invoices tab, and click CREATE. To see the invoices for a single line item, click the Invoices tab on the line item summary. For details, see Managing Invoices. Note: After you upgrade, run the User Access Management (UAM) process models to register the Finance Representative role and the new invoice groups. See Installing Contract Writing.
