Usage limits may apply. This topic covers tasks that you must complete before using DocCenter. Requirements To use DocCenter, your environment must have plug-ins and features enabled. When you deploy models to other environments, those environments must also have these plug-ins and features enabled. Note: Earlier versions of the application required you to set up API keys to deploy models to higher environments. This step is no longer required as of DocCenter 3.0. Model and region selection DocCenter is powered by AI models available in Appian. Administrators can control certain model configurations on the AI Services page in the Administration Console. DocCenter can extract and process data from multiple data inputs, such as visual and text-based content. You can leverage these capabilities by selecting Visual extraction as you define fields in your extraction model. Enabling the visual extraction capability may require you to enable cross-region inference profiles to send model data to another region where multimodal models are supported. If you're using an older model that doesn't use inference profiles, contact Appian Support to use DocCenter by sending your data to a supported region.
