Version 9.9 (Release date: 29 March 2024) You asked, we listened: RPA on Kubernetes is here! Exciting news for our self-managed customers! Appian on Kubernetes (AoK) just got better with the addition of Appian RPA. This new capability brings all of Appian RPA's features directly to your environment, be it cloud-based or on-premises. Version 9.8 (Release date: 16 February 2024) Enhanced robot security and authentication We're aligning Appian RPA with the latest industry security standards by automatically pre-signing all agents. Additionally, robot keys will be used for agent authentication on Mac and Linux platforms. We're ensuring that your robot workforce is not only more secure but also more versatile and seamlessly integrated across diverse operating systems. Note: This feature is enabled for customers on Appian 24.1 or higher. Security updates Updates were made to improve the security and stability of Appian RPA. Version 9.7 (Release date: 19 January 2024) Robotic Workforce Manager (RWM) application deprecation The Robotic Workforce Manager (RWM) application has been deprecated, meaning it will no longer be updated or pre-installed for new Appian Cloud sites with Appian RPA enabled. Customers should use the Operations Console to manage robots instead. Security updates Updates were made to improve the security and stability of Appian RPA. Version 9.6 (Release date: 15 December 2023) Extract data from web tables using task recorder The Get table values low-code action is now part of the task recorder, making it super easy to quickly extract data from HTML tables. Use the task recorder to extract the data you need from an entire table and save it directly to a robotic task variable. Say goodbye to manual entry and intricate coding - it's all about efficiency and ease. Version 9.5 (Release date: 27 October 2023) Discover new and enhanced Excel actions The Excel Licensed Required module is back with a set of new and enhanced actions to elevate your experience. Use the new Find value action to search a worksheet by cell value, with exact case or full content matching options. With the new Clear data filters and Clear pivot table filters actions, you can reset tables, ranges, or pivot tables to their unfiltered state. And the Close workbook action was updated so that you can choose which workbooks you'd like to close in one step.
