The Requirements Management (RM) 1.7 release notes provide an overview of the latest changes and improvements to the RM Solution. The new features and capabilities were designed with best practices in mind. Contract Writing Integration The RM solution now contains an integration with Contract Writing! This integration allows your users to indicate when accepted requirements are ready to be sent to Contract Writing to begin the procurement process. In addition, you can view the status of the related procurement and access the related record directly from your RM solution. With this integration, your users can use requirement data to begin their procurement, reducing the amount of manual entry needed for the procurement process. Messaging & Inbox We are replacing the Collaboration tab in each Requirement with a Messages tab instead. This allows your users to view an inbox in RM and send messages about requirements, instead of relying on the original, basic commenting functionality. Now there is no need to handle emails and other forms of communication outside of RM, since you can complete more of your workflow in the solution. Switch to Azure OpenAI This release includes an Azure OpenAI integration with the RM Solution. Now your organization will be able to use the FedRAMP-certified and secure Azure OpenAI integration to power AI features and capabilities in the RM solution, rather than the commercially available version of OpenAI. Have confidence that you are keeping your data and network secure with Azure OpenAI. Create Update Wizard UX Revamp This release improves the Create Update wizard, making it easier for users to navigate between sections. The new look and feel organizes and groups the Requirement data in sections, allowing users to quickly find the fields they need to complete in order to create the requirement. Add Additional Checklists Ad-hoc This release allows users to add more checklists to a requirement at any stage in the requirement's lifecycle. This allows users to better respond to changes to the requirement's acquisition process. Get Started Now Ready to get started using Requirements Management 1.7?
