The Contract Writing 2.1 release notes provide an overview of the latest changes and improvements to the Contract Writing (CW) Solution. The new features and improved capabilities were designed with best practices in mind. Track action obligations for Procurement Analytics In this release, Contract Writing has been updated to better track action obligations to provide contracting personnel teams with better insights and reporting capabilities. CW now calculates and tracks: The difference in obligated funds for each release of a modification and displays it on the Line Items tab. The overall cumulative obligation amount at the award level and displays it on the Award Summary tab. In addition, we've updated the Fiscal Year Obligated Spend chart in Procurement Analytics, the audit history to track changes to action obligation upon release, and the change narrative document to include action obligations. DD Form 1155 added to standard forms We've added DD Form 1155 to the standard forms for the Contract Writing solution. You will now be able to select this form and have the first page automatically populate based on your selection. General enhancements NAICS suggestion bug fix - we've fixed an issue where the NAICS code wouldn't clear and re-suggest after clearing and re-selecting the PSC code. Added funding source shortcut on line item - we've enhanced the line item wizard to allow users to quickly add a funding source to the overall award.
