The Contract Writing 1.6 release notes provide an overview of the latest changes and improvements to the Contract Writing Solution. The new features and improved capabilities were designed with best practices in mind. Procurement AI Copilot Navigate the complexities of government contracting with your own personal knowledge assistant. The Procurement AI Copilot is a dynamic, AI-driven module that integrates with Appian’s Contract Writing solutions to help streamline the procurement process. The Procurement AI Copilot reduces the amount of time and effort required to access relevant knowledge and make decisions while helping your team remain compliant with evolving regulations. Using a conversational interface, users can ask questions and receive AI-generated, contextually relevant answers and insights that are specifically tailored to your organization's operational needs. Contract File Enhancements We’ve added improved capabilities to help contracting personnel manage attachments in Section J of the contract file. Now contracting personnel can add an attachment directly in Section J of the contract text. The solution now tags whether an attachment was designated as Section J during the solicitation stage or during the award phase. This makes it easier to keep documents organized and up-to-date so your team can effortlessly maintain transparency and legal compliance throughout the procurement process. Enhanced Document Security We have bolstered the security of documents so that non-contracting users are unable to view contracting documents using a direct link to the document. This ensures that non-contracting users can only view documents on a solicitation or award record for which they are added as a viewer.
