What's New in Connected Underwriting?

The Connected Underwriting (CU) P&C 1.4 release notes provide an overview of the latest changes and improvements to the CU P&C solution. These improvements were designed with best practices in mind.

Create quotes easily in Guidewire

This release includes the Guidewire Quoting module, which enables you to connect your CU P&C solution directly to Guidewire's policy admin center using Appian’s Connected System object. Once your CU P&C solution is connected to Guidewire PolicyCenter, you can pass submission data from your CU P&C solution directly into Guidewire, enabling your underwriters to generate quotes for the Commercial Auto and Commercial Property lines of businesses in Guidewire's PolicyCenter.

This module integration simplifies your underwriting process and provides end-to-end connectivity, reducing the need to pivot between multiple applications to pull in submission data.

Additional updates

This release also includes UI improvements and translation support by:

Modernizing and improving the Submission Record UI, including minor updates to the Customer & Broker relationship,
Adding support for Translation Sets that allow you to easily translate your CU P&C solution and modules to other Appian-supported locales and languages.
