The Award Management (AM) 1.8 release notes provide an overview of the latest changes and improvements to the Award Management Solution. New features and improved capabilities were designed with best practices in mind. Contract File updates We've updated the Award Management (AM) file folder structure to match the structure in Requirements Management (RM). Instead of using actual folders to organize contract documents, AM organizes contract documents using custom tags that are easily configurable from the AM Settings site. From the Folders tab, users with admin access can configure custom tags to add folders and subfolders and rename exiting ones. These custom tags create the framework for the contract file folder structure and intelligently organize related documents into the appropriate contract file folder. This new structure simplifies the AM and RM integration, makes is easier to move contract documents from RM to AM, and improves the solution's performance. Accessibility improvements This release also includes several accessibility improvements as part of an ongoing effort to ensure the solution meets web accessibility standards. Deprecation The AS_AM_UT_contractingFolderStructure expression rule previously used to configure the contract file parent folders and subfolders has been deprecated, and will be removed in a future AM release. Begin using custom tags to define your contract file folder structure. Get Started Now Ready to get started with AM 1.8 Check out Installing AM for more information. Feedback Was this page helpful?
