The Award Management 1.5 Release Notes provides an overview of the latest changes and improvements to the Award Management Solution. New features and improved capabilities were designed with best practices in mind.
This release improves the Award Management solution's ability to track the progress of an award by adding new status values that accurately represent the work associated with the award process. This provides greater visibility into specific award activities and makes it easier to determine what needs to happen next in the award process.
In addition, this release adds new actions to help support the transition between statuses. In some instances, the solution will automatically create new tasks to represent the required work, saving time and minimizing confusion.
Award Management now allows you to delete document folders from individual awards, making it easier to ensure the accuracy of the contract file structure, implement required changes, and save memory in your environment. The Delete Folder action allows users to select the folder they want to delete from an award, including any documents in that folder.
This release continues to build on that functionality by adding checklists to solicitations. Users can now manage reviews or documents through predefined checklists. In addition, they can create ad-hoc tasks when necessary to ensure the appropriate steps related to their solicitation are taken.
his AM release includes out-of-the-box support for Oracle database installations without requiring conversions of the Maria database scripts currently provided. This decreases implementation efforts for customers using Oracle during the initial installation or when upgrading their solution. Customers can use standard Appian support channels to request help with Oracle DB issues.
Award Management 1.5 also includes several changes to previously identified accessibility issues. This is part of an ongoing effort to ensure the solution meets web accessibility standards.
