This page covers all the features in the Users View of Appian Designer.
Developers and system administrators have different permissions on the users view so they will see different options.
Developers can modify their own user information and see a limited set of read-only details when searching for the other users.
System administrators can create new users, as well as view and search through the complete list of users. To create a new user, click Create User.
The search allows you to search by full name, username, and email. The users grid can also be sorted by status and type. System administrators can filter the grid by the user's active/inactive status, deactivate or reactivate users, as well as view and modify a specific user's information just like they can in the Administration Console.
System administrators can also view or modify user information by clicking on a username to open the Update User dialog. This dialog displays detailed information about a user, including the groups of which they are members and administrators. System administrators can also administer all groups, but only system groups will be explicitly listed.
