The Start Doc Extraction node allows you to start a document extraction run.
Activating this smart service in the process model initiates an asynchronous analysis run in Appian, and immediately returns a Doc Extraction ID. Next, the a!docExtractionStatus() function should be used to check the status of a run.

This tab displays all the Node Inputs and Node Outputs for the Service Node. You can add additional inputs and outputs, if needed.
The default inputs are:

|processorID||Leaving this value blank will default to Google's v1beta2 extraction capabilities. If you provide a processor, this node will leverage Google's Document AI API v1 capabilities.
Appian's native document extraction capabilities related to key-value pair extraction are currently in Preview. Before enabling this feature, please review its compliance to ensure that it aligns with your organization's security requirements. To enable this feature, select Enable additional native services in the Document Extraction page of the Admin Console.
Note: Document extraction supports PDF files. File size is limited to 15 pages or 7 MB, regardless of the vendor processing the document.

After starting the doc extraction run, you should use the identifier with the a!docExtractionStatus() function to check the status of the run.
