Scheduling of executions

From this screen, you can see a visual timeline for executions that you have scheduled.


This screen will show you the executions performed and scheduled from a certain date specified in the Start date field.

The timeline appears as a grid with columns that represent the 24 hours of one day and rows that represent the number of days (7 by default). Type a number in the Number of days field to change how many rows are displayed.

A vertical blue line indicates the current date and time to distinguish all past executions from the scheduled future executions.

For past executions, the length of the bar indicates a robotic process's execution duration. The height of each cell can be divided into "lanes" to represent the resources where the executions took place. This way, all executions on all resources can be represented in the grid, even when they're launched simultaneously.

If an installation has only one resource, its lane extends the full height available in the cell. On an installation with several resources, the height will be split into several lanes, one per resource.

Each robotic process is represented by the color specified in the Scheduling editor, described below.

Schedule list

This list shows the execution schedules set up in the console, regardless of whether they are enabled or not.

Each schedule is specified for a single robotic process, so the information shown in the list is relative to the process itself. A robotic process can have several schedules.

Schedules are shown in the Scheduling of executions table, according to the future scheduled day and hour.


The schedule list displays the following columns:

  • Robotic process: Name identifying the robotic process (not to be confused with its id).
  • Description: Text describing the schedule.
  • Color: Color used to represent the schedule (future) in the executions timeline.
  • Active: Whether the schedule is active or not.
  • Schedule: Summary in text and "cron" mode for the schedule indicating the days and hours when the robotic process will be executed.
  • Parameters: If the schedule creator included robotic process variables as parameters, they appear here.
  • Executions: Number of executions to be launched.
  • Actions, including:
    • Remove a scheduled execution.
    • Launch a scheduled execution immediately. It is very useful when the scheduled launch has a lot of executions associated.

Scheduling editor

In the Scheduling editor, you can add new schedules or edit an existing one for a robotic process. The following options appear:

  • Robotic process: Select the robotic process whose execution you want to schedule.
  • Description: Describe the schedule.
  • Color: Choose a color to represent the schedule (future) in the executions timeline.
  • Active: Choose whether the schedule is active or not.
  • Executions to launch: Enter the number of executions to launch at the specified time.
  • Days/Hours/Minutes: Select the days, hours, and minutes to launch the executions.

In the example below, a schedule is defined for the robotic process "Get-Document", in color black, with description "Daily check for new documents" and active every day at 08:00.


Download reports

On this page, you can access reports ready to download. Reports appear here when they meet the threshold you set in the Customize menu. Automatically scheduled reports help prevent performance issues for larger reports.

To change the time limits for reports, click the gear icon to open your preferences and click Customize.


In Customize > Download report, you can determine:

  • Initial wait: value, in seconds, that an available report should wait before being shown in the Download reports page. Its default value is 0 seconds.
  • Available until: value, in minutes, that a report will be available to download. Its default value is 60 minutes.


When you request a report and it takes more time than the limit specified to generate, you will be able to download it, after it is completed, as long as it is available in the server.

When a report is in process, it appears without an End or Duration value in the list of reports to download:


The Download reports page includes these columns:

  • User: Name of the user who requested the report generation.
  • Task: Identifier of the task related to the report (for example: robot item result).
  • Detail: Detailed information about the criteria used in the generated report.
  • Steps: Set of steps to generate the report. Each step is represented by an icon, depending on the generation status (done, pending…).
  • Start: Time when report generation started.
  • End: Time when report generation ended.
  • Duration: How long report generation took in hours, minutes, and seconds.
  • Available until: Remaining time the report is available to download. Once this deadline is reached, the report will no longer be available on the server.
  • Actions: actions that can be performed over the generated report:
    • Click the Result icon ( 951177.png ) to download it.
    • Click the Remove icon ( 2229162.png ) to remove it from the server.
