This release includes exciting enhancements to automation, Appian Records, and more.
You can use our new module to automate Windows applications entirely with low-code. It’s easy to open and close specific applications, perform a variety of common or complex actions, and even switch between two open apps.
You can now relate your record types using relationships to connect your data and then seamlessly reference this data throughout your applications. You can even relate data from different source types, like Salesforce and a database table.
We've created new deployment APIs that can be called from external tools, such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps. You can set up your pipeline once and run it the same way for all future deployments, saving time and avoiding manual errors.
We've reorganized and expanded the DevOps content. All of our content related to testing, deploying, and monitoring applications using DevOps practices is now in one place.
We've improved the Appian RPA REST API documentation to use a more consistent and streamlined organization. Each page now includes example request and response bodies. We've also added a note to the top of each method's page to remind you to use the proper authentication headers.
To learn how to set up integrations, take the two courses in our new Integrations learning path. Designed for experienced Appian developers, these courses will teach you how to integrate with systems outside of Appian.
