Your automations can now interact with any application using image recognition, move documents between Appian and the desktop, and securely enter credentials, in addition to other easy-to-configure actions.

This release includes new record features that make building reports faster and easier. Quickly build powerful, interactive charts using record data, and reference record reporting data seamlessly throughout your application using the enhanced a!queryRecordType function.

Design robust and flexible interfaces

Design quickly and confidently with new real-time feedback and expanded styling choices. Appian now proactively lets you know if an expression pattern could cause issues. We've also introduced new styles for sites navigation, radio buttons, and checkboxes, and OOTB character limits.

Have you ever wanted an easy button to copy an example expression? We know you haveā€”so we've delivered it! Look for the Copy icon on the top-right of any expression example in the docs. Simply click to copy the entire expression.

Improved RPA API Documentation

We've improved the Appian RPA REST API documentation to use a more consistent and streamlined organization. Each page now includes example request and response bodies. We've also added a note to the top of each method's page to remind you to use the proper authentication headers.
